We may share relevant information with service providers involved in operating our website and delivering our services, including:

  • Shopify, for website hosting, forms and related platform services.

  • Calendly, for consultation bookings.

Overseas information handling

Some information may be stored, accessed or processed outside Australia.

Relevant shipping details and tech pack information may be shared with our team and manufacturing partners in China. Our Shopify account’s selected data hosting location is the United States. Shopify and other technology providers may also process information in other countries through their international operations and service providers.

You can contact us with questions about overseas information handling for your project.

Cookies, advertising and website technology

Our website is hosted by Shopify. Shopify and connected services may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including server-side connections, to operate the website, measure activity and support advertising and personalisation.

Our connected services include Meta, Google and YouTube, TikTok and Klaviyo. Depending on the integration, your interactions and applicable privacy settings, these services may receive technical identifiers and information about activity on our website.

Klaviyo may process subscriber details, subscription preferences, email engagement and website activity to help us manage communications and understand visitor interests.

Where consent is required, optional analytics and advertising technologies are subject to your consent choices. You can use the website’s cookie controls where available and adjust your browser’s cookie settings. Restricting cookies may affect some website features.

Our Your privacy choices page provides additional information and an opt-out mechanism for visitors in supported regions. You may also contact us with questions about your privacy choices.

Shopify Network Intelligence

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store. This allows Shopify to process certain customer and website interaction information alongside information from other Shopify merchants to improve its services and support features such as personalisation and advertising.

This does not give other Shopify merchants direct access to our customer records.

For information about Shopify’s own processing and available privacy rights, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal.

Consultation bookings and external services

Calendly processes information you submit when booking a consultation.

External websites and services have their own privacy policies. Please review those policies when using their services or following links from our website.

Marketing communications

Submitting a project enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to our newsletter.

Where you subscribe or otherwise consent to marketing communications, we may send updates about our services, opportunities and events.

You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails or by contacting info@fashionfactories.com. We may still send communications necessary to manage an enquiry or ongoing project.

Storage, security and retention

Information may be stored in our business records and the systems of service providers we use.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. However, no electronic system or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to manage enquiries, provide services, maintain business records and meet applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.

Access, corrections and other privacy requests

You can request access to personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct inaccurate information, by emailing info@fashionfactories.com.

Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us to make a request.

We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will assess requests under applicable law and explain if we cannot fulfil a request, subject to any legal restrictions.

Privacy complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal information, email info@fashionfactories.com with details of your concern.

We will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it and aim to respond within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will let you know.

Where applicable, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au or the relevant privacy regulator in your jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or information handling practices change. The current version will be published on our website with an updated date.
